Jon Morton
Founder & Clinical Director
Mental Health Occupational Therapist with 18 years of experience supporting neurodivergent communities

About Jon
I bring 18 years of experience as a Mental Health Occupational Therapist and over 10 years as an applied researcher in the fields of occupational science, neuroscience, whole-of-system design, multi-distributed agent systems, and neural network technology.
Through extensive in-field practice, I have witnessed first-hand the systemic failures in supporting the unique needs of neurodivergent communities. Data consistently highlights widespread shortcomings across schools, employment, and mental health/healthcare systems. These challenges are not the fault of individuals but reflect deep-rooted structural issues that require bold, innovative solutions to create real-time, practical support for children and families.
Mission and Innovation
My career mission reflects an industry maxim: "no child left behind." Although we remain far from this goal, initiatives such as CUE1 and its future platform versions are designed to shift this paradigm. These tools empower families and multi-disciplinary teams to co-assess strengths and needs, design, plan, and track personalised visual schedules—placing greater control in the hands of those who matter most.
At the core of this innovation is the development of AI-driven wellbeing databases. By combining children's unique profiles with real-time scheduling data, we can generate actionable insights to better tailor environmental modifications and activity demands. This enables targeted success while fostering positive identity markers, self-efficacy, and competence.

Personal Background
Outside of my professional work, I am a proud father to a 12-year-old autistic son—our family's champion. As an autistic individual myself, I bring both lived and professional experience to this mission. We enjoy active outdoor pursuits such as bushwalking, running, and cycling in one of the most nature-rich cities in the world: Adelaide.
